  1. Malcolm Rusby

This is a great start to your bass playing journey reducing the risk of learning bad habits from the start. Marks courses build gently both on the theory and your playing technique which suited me really well. I couldn’t believe how quickly I could string a few notes together which sounded almost melodic 😀🤭

  2. Tom Whitworth

Having played jazz/blues piano/keys for a very long time, and also having had some bass lessons a while ago, I thought I might not need this course. However I bought it bundled with “Bassics” and I am glad I did. It consolidated what I had already learned and also filled in some gaps I didn’t know were there. Having done this I found I was much better prepared for “Bassics” than if I had launched straight in. The beginners course is cleverly constructed to cover the essentials and set you up for the next steps..

After scouring many paid beginner courses I felt this one was “just right”, content, delivery, the lot, I ve stayed with Marks courses as I like the way he teaches,
