Study Piece: Cello Suite In G
This Study Piece coaching course takes you step by step through the Prelude from J.S.Bach’s Cello Suite No.1 in G Major.
The piece has been adapted to bass especially for this course in such a way that it can be performed on any 4 string bass with a standard 20 fret neck.
In module 1 we’ll take a look at the history of the piece, how cello music can be adapted for electric bass and some tone/performance tips.
In module 2 we’ll work progressively through the prelude in small sections of 4 to 5 bars.
